So, I haven't posted in almost two months! We've been a little busy.
We had a wonderful visit from Carolyn (all the way from New Zealand via State College, PA), Tracy, Ben, and Martin. Unfortunately, I didn't get a single picture that day.
Yes, that's MY kid in the tin foil hat.
We disturbed the neighbors by flattening some spoons to make gifts for Anne
and Grandma Sharon.
We had a good time dying stuff with Courtney and Penelope (no pictures, but surprisingly no real mess in the apartment either) a couple of days before Father's Day.
On Father's Day, we went to a park in our new shirts.
Then Abram and Owen went fishing at Lake Grubb.
Owen got a whole summer wardrobe out of the dying night.
Baby will get a few onesies.
Micah got some bandannas for his birthday.
Baby is also getting a quilt with a psychedelic back.
Here's the shirt that caused the whole affair. It was a light blue shirt with what appeared to be tea stains on it.
Owen enjoyed painting the porch with water and a big paint brush one day
and got a special outing with Anne in her little black Sky. We visited Anne and Granddaddy for a week and played with AJ, Kailey, Izzy, and new baby cousin Nathanael and Aunt Karie.
The next week we visited Grandma Sharon and Pa Billy. We swam in the quarry and creek, hiked at Old Stone Fort, had dinner at Will and Alison's and Lauren and Steve's. Owen enjoyed playing with all his cousins.
One
day we went to the Tennessee Aquarium with Lauren, Electra, and Carter.
For the record, Electra did touch the rainbow boa!
And they were not really that cold.

The tye dye turned out great! We used to do that all the time when we were kids. I told my mom the other day that I wanted to do it again soon. I think you just inspired me!
Thanks, Jessie! Hope you have fun.

Those tye dye shirts are phenomenal!! I am so glad to read about your adventures. Can I request a kombucha post sometime soon? I can't stop raving about it, and I feel strongly that it could be my coffee cure...
