Catching Butterflies In February

This morning, instead of eating breakfast, Owen dug through the cabinet and found the sieve part of the food mill and used it to catch "buddah flies." It took us a bit to figure out where he'd gotten the idea, but Abram finally remembered the lepidopterist in Maybe You Should Fly a Jet! Maybe You Should Be a Vet! (by Dr. Seuss writing as Theo. LeSieg). After a morning out to the market and the toddler gym and a good nap, the fun continued. Owen caught many more "buddah flies" as well as lady bugs and worked up quite an appetite before dinner.

Well, here's the text of the whole page: "Tennis pro . . . Optometrist. . . Hockey pro . . . Podiatrist . . . Chemist . . . Lepidopterist". So, optometrist, podiatrist, and chemist. The chemist, by the way, looks just like you ;-)

Oh, yeh. Most of the jobs are real ones but besides the noodle noodler (who is there only to rhyme with, "You got to be someone! You can't just be a doodler!" which of course he was - irony totally lost on a toddler) you can be a bride. Uh, no thanks.
